One of the biggest problems I have with my skin are pigmentation marks, once a spot has healed I'm left with scar that can take up to a year to completely fade. When I saw an overview of this I was already sold. I'm a fan of the original Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer SPF 10 and have used it for years and I'm even a fan of Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer a excellent drugstore dupe but a recent breakout meant that neither of these were really working for me any more. The babe that is Jennypurr popped up a review of this just at the right time, instantly I knew this exactly what I was after so I made sure I colour matched myself before I went Blindly ordering it online. I finally decided on Light Warm after finding Medium Warm to be a little too peach for my strong yellow undertoned complexion.
Estée Lauder Double Wear High Cover Concealer claims to be light weight, yet concentrated concealer that covers the dark imperfections, stubborn spots, blemishes, scars and more, and I cant honestly say it delivered on all that. Its long lasting formula is oil free, water resistant and has an SPF of 35 which is good for protecting those dark spots so they aren't made any worse by the sun. It literally blurs away dark spots and when it comes to spots it requires a few layers but the end result is never cakey and dry.The only fault I have is that its a bit too much for me to use under the eyes, instead of a covering concealer I need a lightweight brightening concealer and the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly does all that.
It's certainly not the cheapest concealer at £21 and with its 3g size its not the biggest but you only need a tiny bit of product each time. I am so happy I brought this as I felt a lot more comfortable leaving the house with active breakouts and pigmentations marks all over my cheeks and knowing they were happily concealed away.
