JOUER - MATTE MOISTURE TINT

I always give into blogger hype and when Cult Beauty had free shipping I thought it was about time that I brought this.

The colour Linen is around an NC25 albeit a little dark for me it does add a lovely glow to skin without being noticeable, definitely a spring/summer shade. The strong yellow undertones make it perfect for someone like me who struggles to find face products yellow enough and perfect for others who have redness to conceal.  In terms of coverage it acts more like a foundation than a tinted moisturiser and I've found you only need a little bit as it goes a long way.It works wonderfully at layering, I can easily buff more onto problem areas for more coverage without it looking cakey and heavy.

The finish of this is a whole new kind of matte, gone are days where you'd be left looking flat and mask like but now you're left with a matte finish that's also dewy and glowy. Its incredibly long lasting, I can get a full days wear out it and I don't wear powder. For applying this I switch between my Real Technique Buffing Brush and my Beauty Blender for a flawless finish.

This would be an excellent tinted moisturiser for someone with oily/combo skin and I can see this being my go to base through out the summer when my skin gets that little bit oiler. You can pick this up from Cult Beauty at £29 for 50mls, it comes it five shades altogether ranging from fair to dark.

Are you a fan of Jouer? Any recommendations?

  2. I absolutely adore this product! I have it in the shade Nude for when I'm tan and just picked up Linen for when I'm lighter. I totally agree with you! It's SO hard to find yellow toned foundations and these have been perfect. Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

  5. Thanks so much for posting the swatch up. I've been debating which colour to get for a very long while now. I actually thought Linen would be my perfect match, but it looks rather dark. Would you say it's very blendable? x
